Therefore you do not have additional costs for hardware and the related supports costs normally faced with in-house infrastructure.

SaaS (Cloud Computing) alleviates the customer's burden of software maintenance, ongoing operation, and support. Using SaaS also reduces the up-front expense of software purchases, by paying only for what you use with the on-demand service.

 

For the OFFICE all you need is a PC with an Internet Connection..

Since the dispatching and office functions are web-based all you require is a web browser (Internet Explorer) running on a computer with a minimum resolution of 800px by 600px.

In the FIELD technicians use a PDA / Smartphone with Windows Mobile 5 or 6 that doubles as a phone and data collection device.

Mobilio's software is installed on the mobile device. This results in a very small footprint for data transmission that typically enable our clients to enjoy the cost savings by subscribing to their carrier's the minimum data plan. Having the application running independently on the device also means that the technician can continue to use Mobilio even when the data connection is not available, such as hospitals, underground, etc.
